On Sunday June 29th at 11:00 am, The Deptford Fire Department participated in a Community event on Aerial Drive to support a child who is winning his battle with cancer. The fire department, along with the Deptford Police Department, Gloucester County Commissioners, Deptford High School Cheerleaders, Famous Eagles Football Fan #59, a local car club who organized the event and many community residents participated in a small parade to the front of the residence where “Brody” lives. Brody is a cancer survivor and he was celebrated for his heroic fight. It was an honor for the Deptford Fire Department to participate in such a great event. Way to Go Brody!
