At the public meeting of the Deptford Board of Fire Commissioners of August 7, 2024, Lieutenants Alan Bender and Constantine Sypsomos were promoted to the position of Captain within our career staff. They both began their career as a Deptford Fire Department firefighter on April 30, 2007, with Constantine previously being a volunteer firefighter within our district for many years.
The Deptford Fire Department wishes them a long and prosperous career and are looking forward to them helping us move forward in their new positions. Congratulations to both!
